On Saturday we woke up and it was such lovely weather... I just couldn't resist putting some washing on the line! It made me so happy, haha! Oh the life of a mum ;)
I then decided to squeeze in a little workout. I decided on this Quick & Sweaty workout and it was good but for some reason I just had no energy and my legs felt so heavy! It was hard but I completed it (just about) although I have listened to my body and gave it a rest day today.
I wore my new Ilu fit wear sheer panel capris and do you know what? I loved them! I got the size 6 and they fit perfectly. I hate it when you're doing a workout and all you can focus on is your leggings falling down, these didn't move at all and were comfy so I could really focus on the moves I was doing. The sheer panel adds the fashionable factor to the outfit and also the fact they are capris means they're perfect for the warmer days that are hopefully around the corner if you're not a fan of shorts like me.
My handsome date <3 p="">3>
After my workout I showered and got ready as we were taking Sienna to her Grandma's for the night. Warren does DJing for parties and events in the evenings/weekends and I go with him to help set up/take down & take requests from people etc. This weekend he had one booked so Sienna had a sleepover at Grandma's (which they both love). We dropped her off a bit earlier so we could have a little lunch date beforehand as we generally don't get time for dinner or anything.
We got starter and main, I had prawn cocktail to start (no bread) and Warren had BBQ chicken wings. For main, I got a cowboy burger but with salad instead of chips and I didn't eat the bun either and Warren got the Chicken, chorizo & seafood paella. We both left full but of course we had to have dessert! I had actually made this grain-free apple cake in the morning so we had some of that when we got home before loading the car up.
The party went really well, they seemed to love it and it was packed with everyone dancing which is always a good sign! It's actually so much fun, I love going along and helping. I don't normally drink when we go to these things unless it's a friends party or there's a lot of people we know there. We didn't get in until 2am which isn't too bad but I'm rubbish on no sleep these days and still wake up feeling hanging even though I didn't drink, haha! We had a nice lazy morning before going to pick Sienna up and then we're having a lazy afternoon too.. the day may have involved a creme egg or two as well ;) Can't eat salad all the time can I?!
What did you get up too this weekend? Are you a lover or hater of creme eggs?
