Post-partum style | The poncho

I always find post-partum style so hard as with both my pregnancies I put on way too much weight! I never fit back in any of my old clothes for ages but I don't want to fork out a lot of money on new clothes either. This is where your maternity jeans and poncho's make the perfect outfit!


Yes, I'm still in my Seraphine maternity jeans which is a little embarrassing however, I am one that has to really work hard to lose weight so until I get the all clear to work out and can start doing HIIT and more intense exercise, I probably won't lose anymore weight than I already have.

This is the latest poncho in my collection from Woolovers and I've been wearing it a lot. It's a bit thinner than my other ponchos which is good as I get so hot but still warm enough as it is 30% cashmere and 70% merino wool. I also love the beige/camel colour, it's the perfect lighter colour for Spring.


Ponchos are generally great for breastfeeding anyway but this one has buttons making the accessibility even better, it also means you can style it multiple ways. I wear it with my Purpless nursing tops underneath and together they create the best breastfeeding friendly outfit!
