For our holiday to Gran Canaria last week, I did a little (or rather big) ASOS order as most of my Summer things from last year no longer fitted me now I am 5 months pregnant! I do have the odd floaty top I can just about get away with but was struggling with skirts, shorts and dresses.
Whenever I order anything online, I always check Vouchercloud to see if I can get any discount codes or perks and ASOS had quite a few good deals so I thought I'd give the maternity range a go as I've never ordered from there before!
The first thing on my list was a swimming costume as I knew we'd be in the pool a lot! The one I went for actually wasn't maternity, I just sized up to a size 10 but it still fits really well and I loved it so much! It has a real boho vibe to it with the tassels on the front and the black floral print. This was half price so an absolute bargain and I'm hoping to wear it post-partum too!
The next thing I got was this beautiful thin maternity jersey dress. The pineapple print just screams holiday/summer and I love the cold shoulder style too. It was super comfy and cool for the 29 degree heat and not too see through either which I am always worried about with thinner dresses. I think this may still work for post partum too as it is just floaty from the bust down.
I also wanted some shorts to team with some floaty tops I already had and picked these baggy black ones and I wore them so much! I think they'll be a staple for me throughout the Summer, the elasticated waist band was perfect for my bump and you can dress them up or down. They were around £14 which is an absolute bargain as I know I will get so much wear out of them. I will even just wear them for lounging around the house!
Overall, I was really impressed with ASOS and will definitely be using it more, they do have some real bargain especially when you can use the codes from Vouchercloud. I also got a few other bits I can wear now during the Spring too, including a gorgeous denim jacket, if you fancy seeing my whole order watch my haul and try on below!
