Like many people, one of my New Years Resolutions was to get back on the healthy eating bandwagon. Many people are surprised I don't diet or eat salads every day.
I am in fact a chocoholic, I can't go more than a day without carbs and I am not naturally lucky or 'skinny'. I just know a little bit about nutrition and eat everything in moderation (or there abouts). If I am trying to lose a few pounds gained (say over a certain festive period..!) I do cut carbs for lunch OR dinner, but only until I have lost those few pounds, not long term.
I have started doing my 'What I Ate' videos again on my YouTube channel, I find them easier to do than blog posts and I find it is easier to see my portion sizes as sometimes pictures can be a bit deceiving. I am really into my fitness and nutrition so I do find it quite easy to get back into but saying that, I know my meals/snacks are not perfectly nutritionally balanced, I do let myself live a little too.
