As our Venue was very grand, we didn't feel we needed a lot of extra decor. As we booked a whole package with them, they provided all the chairs, tables, cutlery etc so we didn't have to source any of that which was so stress free! We did look at getting a marquee but to get everything for inside felt too stressful!
As you walked into the building, we had a table set up with wedding advice slips for people to fill in. The gold tray is from a boot sale and I set it up with a little photo from our engagement shoot, a tray (from a charity shop) with the slips on, these buckets with a little tealight in and our personalised pencils that had 'Happily Ever Conway' on. We had a personalised crate for guests to put the completed advice slips in.
We also had our guestbook and my Fujifilm instax camera with some washing tape, the guests snapped a selfie and stuck it into the book with a message. I love having this and the advice slips to look back on! Outside, we had a simple personalised wedding sign made & I loved it! With have this in our bedroom as a keepsake now.
On the tables, we used these instagram signs so people knew what our hashtag was throughout the day. Our favours were the Face placemats as a bit of fun (Warren's idea) and then some organza bags full of pick and mix.
Our table plan was an old ladder that I painted white with Rustoleum's chalk paint in white (SUCH good stuff!) and then the cards were designed and printed by Peach Wolfe. I sent her photos of my wedding colours and the save the dates we had already used and she came up with a similar design that I loved! I'd highly recommend her, they turned out perfect! I decorated around the ladder with some white rose fairy lights & love how it turned out!
