The school summer holidays are really quickly creeping up on us (how are we halfway through May already?!) and as it's Sienna's last one before she starts school, I want to fill it with day trips out and make it as fun and exciting as I can. I know she will still get the Summer holidays every year but to me it doesn't feel the same and I want to make the most of this year with both girls being little.
I did our 'UK family bucket list' back in December for this year and thought I'd recap and tick off what we've done and what we would love to do this Summer.
Places in the UK to visit this year...
- Moors valley again
- Strawberry picking at Chosen hill farm in the Summer
- St Ives
So we've only managed to tick off 3 of these things which is pretty disappointing if I'm honest! Although we have had some fab days out at places that aren't on this list such as Legoland, Weymouth Sealife adventure park and a fun week at Butlins.
Our day trips have slowed down for the moment as we are in the process of moving/buying a house. We love a good family day out but it can get expensive, which is why I wanted to share this amazing competition from the artificial turf company 'Artificial Grass Direct'. They are giving you the chance to win a £150 Go Ape voucher which would help in making those fun days out a little less expensive. All the details and terms and conditions are over on their website, I'll definitely be entering for sure!
